Starting Q3 2021, IP Address Market is becoming a unique product in its own right. You will manage IP resources with a dedicated IPXO platform that will make your life a lot easier.

We will launch IPXO in a few iterations, and with the first launch, we will start migrating some of the IPAM features from Heficed to IPXO.

This FAQ guide will help you prepare for the smooth transition from Heficed to the IPXO marketplace. It will answer the most common questions related to the changes that will occur at the Heficed IP Address Market when IPXO goes live.

General Questions

How will I log into the IPXO platform for the first time?

You will be able to log in with your Heficed login. Once you do so, you will need to specify your country and verify your mobile number. You can access your resources via www.ipxo.com or through the Heficed Terminal.

Do I need to transfer my IP resources from Heficed to IPXO?

No, you don’t need to take any action. We will move the subnets available for lease to the new IPXO platform first. In the later months, we will migrate the remaining IP resources, including the leased subnets. Read more about IPXO athttps://www.ipxo.com.

Will it be possible to add IP addresses to IP Address Market on the Heficed Terminal?

No, with the launch of IPXO, you will only be able to monetize IP resources using IPXO Address Market.

Will it be possible to lease IP addresses at Heficed IP Address Market and assign them to Heficed cloud or bare-metal servers?

Yes, most IP addresses at IPXO will be available to lease at Heficed IP Address Market and be assigned on cloud and bare-metal servers.

Will it be possible to lease IP addresses at Heficed IP Address Market and assign them to any service provider?

Yes, you will still be able to access the IP address Market at Heficed and lease IP addresses from there with the first launch of IPXO. Later, we will migrate this feature to IPXO.

Will it be possible to lease IP addresses at IPXO and assign them to Heficed cloud or bare-metal servers?

No. However, this will be possible in later versions of IPXO, and you will be able to assign IPs on Heficed and later to other infrastructure providers.

I am using infrastructure on Heficed, and I am also monetizing and/or leasing IP addresses. Can I keep a unified billing setup in one platform?

No. Since you will have separate profiles for IPXO and Heficed, each platform will use its own billing system.

Read ahead and learn what will happen with your services on Heficed Terminal after the IPXO is launched. We will look into specific scenarios based on the different products you might be using at the moment.

1. I am only leasing IPs. What will happen?

Will I be able to access my IP resources at Heficed after the IPXO launch?

a) You are leasing IP addresses on an external infrastructure provider.

Yes, we will be migrating your resources to IPXO, but until the migration is fully completed, you will be able to access and manage your IP resources at Heficed.

b) You’re leasing IP addresses and using them on Heficed infrastructure or haven’t assigned them to any infrastructure yet.

Yes, you will be able to continue managing your IP resources at the Heficed Terminal as you did before.

Will it be possible to lease IP addresses at Heficed IP Address Market and assign them to Heficed cloud or bare-metal servers?

Yes, most IP addresses at IPXO will be available for leasing at the Heficed IP Address Market and assignment to the cloud or bare-metal servers.

Will it be possible to lease IP addresses at IPXO and assign them to Heficed cloud or bare-metal servers?

No, not at the moment. Nevertheless, this will be possible in later versions of IPXO.

2. I am only monetizing IP addresses. What will happen?

Will I be able to access my IP resources at Heficed after the IPXO launch?

You will be able to access and manage all your leased subnets on Heficed until the full migration is done. With the first IPXO launch, we will start migrating only the subnets available for lease.

I am monetizing IP addresses at Heficed IP Address Market. What will happen to my previous payout history?

Your entire payout history will remain at Heficed, where you will always have access. Payouts for subnets migrated to IPXO will already be paid using IPXO, and the forthcoming payout history will continue to be recorded there.

What will happen with my payouts during/after the launch of IPXO?

Your payout history will remain at Heficed, where you will always have access. Payouts for subnets migrated to IPXO will be paid at IPXO.

3. I am just buying cloud/bare-metal servers. What will happen?

Will I be able to access my IP resources at Heficed after the IPXO launch?

Yes, no changes here. You can continue using cloud/bare-metal servers with the Heficed Terminal.

4. I am using all your services: cloud/bare-metal servers, leasing IPs, and monetizing IPs. What will happen?

Will I be able to access my IP resources at Heficed after the IPXO launch?

a) You have leased IPs and are using them with other infrastructure providers.

You will not experience any changes for the IPs that are already leased with the first launch. Later, all leased IPs will also be migrated to IPXO.

b) You are leasing subnets from IP Address Market and using them on Heficed infrastructure.

You will not experience any changes, and you will be able to continue using the platform as you have up until now.

c) You are using the IP Address Market to monetize your IP Addresses.

We will create a new account and migrate the subnets available for lease to IPXO. You will not experience any changes for the assets that are already leased with the first launch. Later, those will be migrated too.

d) You are using cloud servers and/or bare-metal servers at the Heficed Terminal.

IP Address Market transition to IPXO will have no impact on yourHeficed cloud servers or bare-metal servers.

5. I have purchased IPs at IP Address Market but haven’t assigned them yet. What will happen?

Will I be able to access my IP resources at Heficed after the IPXO launch?

Yes. You will be able to access your IP resources at the Heficed IP Address Market and continue to assign IPs using HEFICED for the time being.
